This is good

My grandchildren, like most kids these days, love to spend endless hours in front of a screen- television, movie, computer or even small iPod . It is so wonderful when the weather is decent and the kids are in a large, happy group just playing. Saturday, the day these photos were taken, was April 11. One year previous to this day Russ and I had driven down to Cincinnati (not far from where we were in these pictures) to spend the evening with our son and his wife and family. An earth-shattering few moments after our arrival, our son was gone. We haven't forgotten him and never will. But it's good to be far enough past the anguish that we can smile again and feel even a little peace sometimes despite the world conditions and missing Ammon.

Russ and I are truly blessed with a loving, healthy, intelligent family. It will be good to share eternity with them. It would be good if everyone I love would choose to spend eternity with a loving Heavenly Father, too. It would be very good.
