Despite many things in our life right now that are less than happy, Russ and I have made the decision to enjoy whatever we can whenever we can. I saw an ad in the paper for the circus and we thought it would be fun to take some of our grandkids. It was a wonderful experience! The kids and we enjoyed every minute from the pre-show cotton candy....
through the acts and the chance for the kids to have really exciting experiences. Jeremy chose to ride an elephant and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Kadon and Brooklyn were a little intimidated by the elephants but thought they would like to ride the ponies. Kadon said he wouldn't ride anything at first but after giving it some thought while we waited in line for our turn, he decided that riding a horse might be fun after all.
It was a really good thing that Russ was able to enjoy it without fretting over money. Here we are officially declaring bankruptcy and not knowing what exactly is going to happen in the next month or so but we splurged to give these kids a memorable experience- for them and for us.
