Angela and her friend Megdalyn planned the reception decor. Originally, Angela planned to just use various sized canning jars with flowers on each table. Victoria has made the comment several times that it has all seemed like a "fairy tale" to her, finding this wonderful young man who loves her and the kids. So the decision was made to surprise her by using that as a theme. Angela, Megdalyn, Lisa, and I spent several hours designing and building fairy furniture. This is a picture to show the general size as we were getting ready to set up.
The tablecloths and flowers were all brightly colored. You can see the different sizes of the jars on the moss-covered linen napkin. Since all of the furniture was handmade, it was all different so each table was unique. It was fun to go around to all of the tables to see the different designs.
This was a bunk bed. The furniture was a real hit with all of the guests and all of the attending children wanted to take some home so they all were claimed.
