This is the third floor section we have now made into a bathroom. From what we have been told, it was once a "mini-kitchen".When we bought the house, the third floor was basically empty with a rough plank floor, holes everywhere, a pungent animal odor, no insulation, and broken windows. This picture was taken back in December when Russ and I were blowing insulation into the attic space.

This picture is a similar view to the one above with the new walls that Russ built along with the plumbing for bathroom fixtures and electric lines for lights, fan, and outlets. After he makes a room functionable, I finish it: spackle, sanding, paint and cleaning.
This is from the inside of the bathroom, looking out into what is now the foyer of the third floor.
We couldn't figure out a place close enough to the toilet to have the toilet paper so we bought one of those cute stands.
Farther to the right of the shower is an auxiliary water heater since the house water heater is way down in the basement and on the other side of the house- miles for the hot water to have to travel! Over the short water heater is a couple of shelves for whatever. It's not fancy but it's clean, nice, and it works.
